October 2018 FPGEE question

Has anyone already registered for the October 2018 FPGEE exam? We just checked the website and it mentioned that they are starting a new online application system for May 2nd and that paper applications are not being accepted.

Will be still able to register for the October exam once the online system goes live on May 2nd or is it already too late to register for the October exam?
